BRAZIL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026

1.0     Call for Application

The general public is hereby informed that the International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB) has announced the Third Edition of the GCUB International Mobility program for the year 2025/2026 for eligible Tanzanians to pursue Master's and PhD studies in Brazil. Interested candidates are highly encouraged to apply. The call is available on the website: https://www.gcub.org.br/bsp/

2.0    Application requirements

Applicants must fulfil the following criteria:

1. Hold a Bachelor's degree with at least upper second-class division level (Masters applicants); and
2. Hold a Master's degree (PhD applicants).

3.0   Scholarship coverage

This scholarship is a partial scholarship. It covers tuition fees, enrolment fees, and Stipend.Candidates should be able to cover expenses that are not covered in this scholarship from other sources. 

NB: There is no loan or grant from the Government of Tanzania for candidates who will be offered this Scholarship.

4.0.   List of documents to be submitted

The applicant must submit the online application form with the following supporting documents as part of the evaluation process:

1. Certified copies of academic certificates and transcripts;
2. A copy of a Birth Certificate;
3. A valid identity document, ID card, or passport; and
4. A photograph of the candidate taken within the last 1 year.

5.0      Application process and submission

                      i.         All Applications are to be completed online by filling out the form which is available on the following website https://www.gcub.org.br/bsp/application-form.php

                     ii.         Candidates who meet the requirements must provide the information and submit the necessary documents for registration by June 17, 2024 at 23:59 (BRT).
