PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS TENABLE IN THE PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ALGERIA FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-2025

1. Call for Application

The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology is pleased to announce to the general public that the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria is offering scholarships to Tanzanian students at Bachelor's degrees in Medical Sciences,Veterinary Science,Sciences and Technologies,Matter sciences,Agricultural Sciences,Mathematics and Computer,sciences of Nature and Life,Sciences of the Earth and Life,Literature and Foreign Languages,Architecture,Urban Planning and City Professions. Qualified Tanzanian students are invited to apply for the 2024/2025 academic year.

2.      Eligibility

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

1. Must have completed Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination ( ACSEE); 
2. Should be fluent in French or English languages

3. List of documents to be submitted

Applicants must include the following documents listed below:

1. A certified Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE);
2. A certified statement of examination results;
3. A certified copy of passport bio-data page;
4. A certified birth certificate
5. A medical report attesting to the applicant’s health status and to be free from any contagious or infectious diseases.
6. Four (04) recent photographies

4.      Scholarship Benefits

The cost of the scholarship will cover:

(i)        Full tuition fees;

(i)        Accommodation;

(ii)       Monthly per diem (Partial);and

(iii)      Study notes and materials.

6.  Mode of application

1. Submit a typed application letter with a recent passport photograph attached. The application should indicate age, sex, course, home district, telephone contact and email address. Attach all supporting documents in No. 3. 
2. The application should be submitted in hard or soft copy to reach the undersigned not later than 15^th August, 2024.

NB:       There is no loan or grant from the Government of Tanzania for candidates who will be offered this scholarship.
