The Sokoine University of Agriculture, through its Olmontonyi Arusha training center, has purchased a modern "Slidetec mobile sawmll" a log processing machine from Finland. The installation of the machine has been done on March 21, 2023 by involving experts from the Moshi Forest Industry College
In addition, through this modern machine, the College has great expectations to increase wood production. It will also help improve the teaching of new log processing technology, which will help to reduce operating costs and will intend to increase the College's income
